Elizabeth M. Bradshaw, PhD

Dr. Elizabeth M. Bradshaw is Co-Director of The Carol and Gene Ludwig Center for Research on Neurodegeneration and the Adler Assistant Professor of Neurological Sciences in the Department of Neurology, Division of Translational Neurobiology at the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She is also a faculty member of the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer’s Disease and the Aging Brain at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Her research explores the role of the innate immune system—particularly microglia, monocytes, and macrophages—in neurodegenerative diseases, with the goal of identifying potential therapeutic targets.
