Where to Live
Overall, about 60% of residents live between Washington Heights and the Upper West Side. 30% live elsewhere in Manhattan, whether further down into Midtown or east into Harlem. 10% live more remotely, either in Brooklyn or in the suburbs of NYC, such as Westchester, NY, or even Connecticut. The latter often drive in and use the faculty/staff lot. Others travel by subway, bicycle, and/or Lyft (via our Lyft credit).
