In response to a new study that suggests a link between eating processed meat and an increased risk of dementia, Epidemiologist Yian Gu, MD, MS, PhD comments that, in addition to a healthy diet, a healthy lifestyle also helps prevent the development of dementia.
“You not only need to eat fresh, healthy food, but you also need a healthy lifestyle — enough sleep, exercise, social contact, and leisure activities. All of these things work together for better health conditions,” explains Dr. Gu. [read more]
