Dr. Olajide Williams Recognized for Community Engagement

Neurology Professor and Chief of Staff Dr. Olajide Williams was recently named co-director of the Irving Institute's Community Engagement Core Resource (CECR) and is being honored by The New York Academy of Medicine (NYAM) as a "Rising Leader." In addition, as part of the ongoing work of Columbia University’s Antiracism Task Force, President Lee C. Bollinger announced the creation of a Community Advisory Council on which Dr. Williams will also serve, to expand and deepen the vital relationship among all facets of the university and the communities surrounding Columbia’s three Manhattan campuses.
