Dr. Jason Carmel Appointed Chief of Child Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center
The Department of Neurology is delighted to announce that Dr. Jason Carmel has been appointed as the new Chief of the Division of Child Neurology at NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center! Dr. Carmel’s leadership and dedication to advancing pediatric neurology is truly inspiring! He will continue his impactful work as Executive Director & Research Director of the Weinberg Family Cerebral Palsy Center and Principal Investigator of the Movement Recovery Laboratory, ensuring continued progress in groundbreaking research and patient care. We also extend our deepest gratitude to Dr. Arthur Mandel for his outstanding service as Interim Chief. We are thrilled that Dr. Mandel will now take on the role of Clinical Director of the division, where his expertise and commitment will continue to make a lasting impact.
